HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE PELLETS
A linear polymer, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), is produced from ethylene through a catalytic process. The absence of branching results in a more closely packed structure with higher density and slightly higher chemical resistance compared to LDPE. HDPE is also harder and more opaque, and it can withstand fairly high temperatures (120°C short term, 110°C continuous).
