Recycled polypropylene (PP) aka pp granules is used in the manufacture of a wide range of products including consumer packaging, automotive plastic parts, textiles and more. The quality of reprocessed plastic pellets from secondary raw materials is very close to the quality of virgin plastic pellets, and the price is quite economical compared to virgin plastic pellets. In life, PP polypropylene plastic is used to make food packaging. Especially these single layer boxes can be put in the microwave in as little as 2-3 minutes or so. PP has high mechanical and chemical inertness and is a safe material, but the color is quite transparent and the aesthetics are not high.
